The Department of Zoology is committed to imparting quality education and promoting scientific knowledge in the diverse field of animal sciences. The Department provides students with a strong foundation in areas such as animal diversity, taxonomy, physiology, genetics, ecology, evolution, biotechnology, wildlife biology, and environmental science. Through classroom teaching, laboratory practicals, field studies, and research-oriented learning, the Department develops scientific aptitude, analytical skills, and awareness of biodiversity and environmental conservation. The Department aims to prepare students for higher education, research, teaching, and professional careers in Zoology, life sciences, wildlife and environmental management, and other allied disciplines.
