The Department of Chemistry is dedicated to providing quality education and promoting scientific knowledge in the fundamental and emerging areas of chemical sciences. The Department offers a strong academic foundation in organic, inorganic, physical, analytical, and environmental chemistry, while encouraging students to develop practical, analytical, and research-oriented skills. Through classroom teaching, laboratory experiments, project-based learning, and scientific activities, the Department aims to foster curiosity, innovation, and a deeper understanding of the role of chemistry in everyday life, industry, health, energy, and environmental sustainability. The Department strives to prepare students for higher education, research, teaching, and professional careers in chemistry and allied scientific fields.
